Some of you, who stuck around since the start of the year, might remember that I received an unpleasant letter in January. I received bad news in the past, but nothing as unexpected and destructive as that, so I lost my drive. Both this blog and my baseball blog suffered: The posts were shorter, I went weeks without uploading new stuff, and sometimes I wouldn't write for months. I tried keeping busy with other projects like shooting videos for YouTube, writing music, and learning new instruments, but all I could remember was what happened early this year, and the aftermath that followed (unrelated events, yet related, in some odd fashion).
It would be cool to return to the wacky optimism and frequent writings of 2011 and 2012, but I think those days are gone. I don't what the future holds, and it is quite scary, but I'll keep my blogs functioning for now. Maybe someone can learn from my mistakes, make better decisions, and a better life than mine.
